GALAXIA ENCODER adopts the H.264/AVC codec which has approximately 2 times the compression
efficiency of MPEG-2 video. By employing our proprietary optimized algorithms such as coefficient
based adaptive transform coding and adaptive frame type selection, outstanding quality video stream is produced in real-time. In addition, with the various packet rate control techniques, GALAXIA ENCODER provides the best quality video within the limited bandwidth of service provider’s network.
N-Screen service is aimed at providing content seamlessly across a variety of multimedia devices such as IPTV, smart TV, smart phone, tablet, and PC. GALAXIA ENCODER supports MPEG-2 TS over UDP, RTP/RTSP, HTTP Live Streaming, and HTTP Adaptive Streaming, Live Smooth Streaming, Adobe Rtmp, and also coming DASH standard streaming protocols required to build N-Screen service platforms.
Live Stream from Video File
Not only video server, set-top box, camcorder and VCR, but stored video files also can become good sources for IP based live broadcast. Broadcasters can insert advertisement and emergency notice during live broadcast simply by using our video file input feature. Small scale broadcasting systems can be built with GALAXIA ENCODER.
Ingest to Files for On-Demand Services
GALAXIA ENCODER supports high quality video ingest from the SDI input video signal. It can make files with suitable resolutions and bitrates for the on-demand video distribution. With the ingest manager, the ingest farm can be made with the cluster of Galaxia Encoders and in the farm, the ingesting jobs are done automatically with the ordered schedule.
GALAXIA ENCODER provides a valuable feature of logo/subtitle insertion that customers don’t need to spend money for purchasing additional generators for logo/subtitle. Customized settings are available at various properties such as location, size, color, scroll direction, scroll speed, etc.
Web based API allows controlling GALAXIA ENCODER from your computer that make it possible to integrate with legacy systems.
